cygnus.
the robot and its accomplices.
[software]
api architechture
integrates hardware with WMS/ERP systems, synchronising fulfilment process for maximum efficiency
instructs robots to pick the right bin and directs humans to pick items in structured workflows
tracks every bin, plans routes, balances traffic and resolts inventory as order pattern changes
predictive control and analytics
[grid]
bins stacked horizontally and vertically to form a cube structure
an aluminium framework holds the bins inside
has tracks on the top for robots to move
modular structure adaptable to layouts of any size, shape
[dropstations]
single-unified-interface between human and system, serving as entry-exit point for every item
robots deliver bins to dropstations
built for multipurpose workflows -inbound, outbound, packaging, item consolidation, replenishment
retrofittable with conveyors to extend workload
[robot]
battery powered bin carriers
powered by high-torque motors and intelligent sensors
access to all bins at all times
coordinates with other robots for collision free paths
autonomous charging, OTA updates
add/remove robots without disrupting operations
cygnus is our cubic automated storage & retrieval system (cASRS).
Cygnus is a three-dimensional storage grid where inventory lives in stackable bins.
Robots bring the right bin to a person or a machine exactly when it’s needed. Think of it as a neat, vertical city for inventory: streets on the top, addresses in the grid, and lifts that move bins up and down.
The grid is a human-free zone by design built for robots to move on top of the grid.
